She has more than 20 years of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Sarah has extensive knowledge of facial anatomy and expertise in restoring harmony, symmetry and balance to naturally aging faces. She is also one of the top expert injectors across the country. Sarah is well known for her precision with laser treatments, advanced injections and facial mapping. |

Amanda Malgieri MS, PACAesthetic SpecialistJaAmanda is thrilled to join the Refined Aesthetics team to further her passion in aesthetics, after developing a diverse skill set that encompasses both medical and aesthetic training working as a physician assistant at a dermatology and cosmetic practice. She attended Kenyon College for her Bachelor of Science and graduated from MCPHS in New Hampshire with her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2007. She developed an interest in the importance of skin health while working as a medical assistant at a prominent dermatology practice in Ohio during college. This experience ultimately led her to pursue medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. From there, she developed a deep understanding of how cosmetic injectables and laser treatments could improve patients’ quality of life. She had the privilege of seeking out additional cosmetic injectable training opportunities under Sarah. |
PETRA LIPSKIOffice ManagerPetra has more than 17 years of experience working for prominent plastic surgery practices, coordinating cosmetic, surgical and reconstructive patients. She earned her bachelor of science degree from Louisiana Tech University and has vast plastic surgery experience in leadership positions. Petra and Sarah have worked together throughout their careers in Northern Virginia and continue to share the same values, respect and love for their patients. |
MACKENZIE GREENVILLEAssistant ManagerMackenzie received her Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education from Radford University. She previously taught first grade for six years. She also has experience in event production and customer care. In her free time, Mackenzie coaches cheerleading locally and spends time with her young daughter |
SHARON LEE THORNAssistant ManagerSharon earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from VCU, specializing in Fashion Design. Art is not just a passion but the very canvas of her life, enabling her to weave stories through her creative designs. Her artistic journey has seen her designs showcased in juried art exhibits and fashion shows. Sharon’s talent has been further recognized as she’s been commissioned to craft various garments, turning fabric into exquisite pieces of wearable art.

Marisa VeltriAdministrative AssistantMarisa Veltri has her Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine, two master’s degrees in education, and a master’s degree in educational leadership. She has been an employee ofLoudoun County Public Schools since 2004. Marisa also has experience in the medical spa industry as a service specialist assisting clients with their needs. |

She also has a passion for helping people and has worked serving in the airlines, the medical and, more recently, the aesthetics fields. Elaine is married with two children, six grandchildren and two very spoiled dogs. |
